Blokable is a multi-family housing construction company founded in 2016 that provides a solution to the affordable housing crisis in urban communities. The US is ~7.2 million units short of needed affordable housing. Market dynamics have made it difficult to address the supply problem because of the high cost to develop projects to meet the affordable threshold (namely household incomes at or below the local area median). Simply put, Blokable provides high-quality, affordable housing in a faster, cheaper, and more efficient manner than is now possible.
