Before joining Motley Fool Ventures, Jen worked in higher education and television production. During her time at George Mason University and Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA), Jen managed the logistics for the day-to-day operations of teams, coordinated events and assisted with marketing, and communications efforts.

An advocate for equality, diversity and equity, Jen served as a member of the Annandale Equity, Diversity and Inclusion and College Staff Forum Council at NOVA. Jen graduated from George Mason University with a degree in communications. She also earned degrees in broadcasting and business administration from The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale and Florida National College respectively.

Jen lives in Northern Virginia with her two children. She loves to read, travel and workout.
